Our first day of the road-trip dawned bright and early ... we had a lot of ground to cover and we weren't taking the most direct route because we wanted to stop at J.'s sister's house on our first night. We were able to see the family AND saved on a hotel ... bonus!

Luckily, Day #2 was extremely uneventful and perhaps even boring ... no complaints here! I grew up in Oklahoma so I was very excited to be driving through the state and eating at Braum's as many times as possible :) It took us about 14 hours to get to Wichita and we arrived just in time for a home-cooked meal of spaghetti and meatballs ... yum!
